    با کمال احتیاج،از خلق استغناخوش است
    با دهان خشک مردن بر لب دریا خوش است
    نیست پروا تلخکامان را ز تلخیهای عشق
    آب دریا در مذاق ماهی دریا خوش است

    هرچه رفت ازعمر،یادآن به نیکی می‌کنند
    چهره‌ی امروز در آیینه‌ی فردا خوش است
    برق را در خرمن مردم تماشا کرده است
    آنکه پندارد که حال مردم دنیاخوش است
    فکر شنبه تلخ دارد جمعه‌ی اطفال را
    عشرت امروز بی‌اندیشه‌ی فردا خوش است

    هیچ کاری بی تامل گرچه صائب خوب نیست
    بی تامل آستین افشاندن ازدنیاخوش است
