"Silence brims with the unsaid!"* In memory of the Forouhars
*From a poem by Ahmad Shamloo
I am a citizen of this planet, who believes there is a purpose and mission to our existence. I pursue that mission and try to enjoy every lesson, every day, and every last drop of the pain and joy we drink when we live. I live a mostly regret-free life, with each failure quickly becoming a valuable experience and something to laugh about, and every success something about which to be thankful and celebrative. I do all of this in and around my beloved Berkeley, California.

This silence is sometimes louder than scream!
Good Girl Jan:
Yes, indeed. There have been a few times in my life when I was lost for words and where or whether to begin talking. My mind screamed and my mouth was quiet. I think the lesson I learned was that if I love and care for someone, I must also hear that which is not said. To be realistic, though, it is truly a high expectation to have of anyone to do the same. If ever you find someone who can give you that gift, of hearing you without words, whoever that person is to you, hold on to him/her for dear life, as you may have found an irreplacable treasure!
Well said, Nazy khanoom.
I'm glad we found each other in the blogosphere. Let us indeed stay in touch.
Too often our minds scream while our mouths are silent.
Mina Jan,
Thanks for coming and thank you for your comment. I am so delighted to have found you. Sometime this weekend I plan to go back and read your older posts. It's all so interesting! Thans again.
