I am a citizen of this planet, who believes there is a purpose and mission to our existence. I pursue that mission and try to enjoy every lesson, every day, and every last drop of the pain and joy we drink when we live. I live a mostly regret-free life, with each failure quickly becoming a valuable experience and something to laugh about, and every success something about which to be thankful and celebrative. I do all of this in and around my beloved Berkeley, California.

the benches are lovely, and I see you zadi ro daste aghae Vahid!!
Leva Jan, Nobody does it like Vahid does! My ghelyoon (hooka) had to wait for my kids to get home to get it started! By that time, it was so windy on the balcony, it was rather dangerous to have the embers flying all over the place. I need to learn from Vahid how to do it properly myself! Take care my friend.
Such a beautiful site. It's Argilleh in Arabic. I forgot the Persian word for it since all I hear around me is Argileh habibi!!LOL
Serendip: But did you learn how to set it up? It seems complicated to me!
It's not that hard once you get used to it. Did you know there are peach, candy, and apple flavored tobaccos? I've never tried them myself but they smell delicious.
Serendip: Haven't tried setting up the ghelyoon, but I have tried the different flavors of tobacco. Yum!
