Iranians on Internet Seminar

On Saturday, September 22nd, there will be a gathering of Iranian bloggers, internet professionals, and audiences in San Francisco State University. If you live in this area, it would be so good to see you there. Bloggers of Northern California, and a few from out of the area will be there. Iranian.com and Balatarin will also have presentations. It should be a good time. Plan on joining us if you can. I look forward to meeting you in person.

Of course, Mehran Jan. Good point. It would be fun to find any other bloggers in our midst! I am really excited to be able to meet people I have never met before. It will be a very good time, i'm sure.

I am so excited!

Will presentations by a mix of Farsi/English or just English, or...just Farsi?

No offense to all you other lovely bloggers: Nazy Joon, I wish I could just sit and hear you talk on-stage forever...

Salam Assal Jan. A very good question. The morning session is almost entirely in Farsi, except for when bloggers read their favorite posts, and Arash Aramesh of Berkeley Forum, Roja of Tameshk (if she can make it), and I will be reading, as we blog in English! The Iranian.com session in the afternoon will be almost entirely held in English. I will have a presentation then, too, along with Bruce Bahmani, Jahanshah Javid, and Ari Siletz. Ross Mirkarimi's presentation is also in English. Balatarin will be presented in Farsi, and Sanam Dowlatshahi of Khorshid Khanoom will deliver her presentation via teleconference from Florida in Farsi. I hope you can come Assal Jan. I would love to see you there my friend.

Uni-Far Jan:

I so wished you could be here and you could attend, too! Bloggers in our area will attend. Ala Hazrat Hajagha, Baloot, Bayramali, Shena dar Shenzar, Nimeh Shab, Omid Memarian, Baraneh, Yoldash, and Berkeley Forum (the last three are not on my link list. Others are). We will also have Saat-e-Sheni, and hopefully Tameshk and Habe Siah if they can manage their schedules and get tickets.

I am sure it will be a good gathering. I will post reports and pictures. Take care.
