George Michael and Queen play "Somebody To Love," in a concert in 1992, paying tribute to Freddie Mercury. I consider this one of the best live performances ever, singing a beautiful song, in memory of a beautiful man, with a legendary band, and an absolutely fabulous audience. Watch to the end and enjoy! Happy Saturday everyone.

Salam Shideh Jan:
Happy Monday! Sorry I didn't reply earlier. I am working on translating the Mofid Piece for a Farsi media and it has taken up a lot of my time.
I'm so glad you enjoyed the music. I just love that song! Please come back again soon Shake Jan!
Marzieh Jan:
Missing you girl! I hope you are keeping well and happy with your family. I'm glad you enjoyed the music. The funny thing in my household is that my children listen to Queen all the time. As I was posting this song and checking to make sure it works in my post, the two of them were lurking in the background, listening and making positive remarks about it, too!
Have a good Monday my friend.
Golabi, Golabi,
How are you? I'm so glad you liked the music. I first heard this song in audio in Tehran. Even through the audio I could tell that audience was fabulous! When I saw the clip I knew for sure. I think British performers do so much better on stage when they perform in Britain, because their audience is usually very welcoming to them. I went to an Eric Clapton concert in Birmingham in UK midlands once, and I will never forget what that audience was doing for that great performer.
Have a good day Golabi Jan.
I was gonna say what a great sound/picture and add that's one of the best live Youtube concerts I've seen, then read you're comment and that brought a big grin on my face. Ditto -;)
Wasn't Freddie Mercury half Indian or Iranian?
Salam Bijan Jan:
I'm glad we agree on this piece of music!
Yes Freddie (Fereidoon) Mercury was from a Parsi Family of India. After Islam became the mandatory religion of Iran, many Zoroastrians had to leave Iran and ended up in India, becoming known as Parsi's. This is as much as I know about the subject, but if you look through notes about Freddie Mercury, you will see that he was very proud of his heritage, and talked about it often.
Thanks again for coming to visit. I'm sorry it took me so long to reply. Be good Bijan Jan.
